Located on the south side of Youcheng 4th Road in Maoming City, the Maoming Sports Center is a municipal sports facility that embodies the collective memories of the city’s citizens.
Originally built in the 1980s, the center underwent its first renovation and upgrade in 2013, focusing on improving the swimming pool lighting system, adding a children’s pool, and supporting leisure facilities. In 2025, the largest renovation project in 30 years began, including the construction of a new dual-use football and track and field stadium, the renovation of a national fitness center, and an open leisure plaza.
