Jiehua Kindergarten, Tsinghua University

Jiehua Kindergarten (Kindergarten Affiliated to Tsinghua University), Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. It is a well-known kindergarten in Beijing. Its sports playground uses ELASTIMAX elastic sports floor. Before the renovation, the park used traditional hard PP floor. Most of the classes in the kindergarten are carried out outdoors every day, such as shooting balls, jumping exercises, playing games, etc.

During the use, children may fall, bruise, or the ball does not bounce. Later, after communicating with the customer and on-site inspection, we finally recommended the Elastimax sports floor to the customer.

This product is a soft sports floor, which can effectively reduce children’s falls, bruises, and sports injuries. At the same time It also has professional sports performance, which can be very suitable for teachers to teach basketball. In order to make more effective use of the site, we planned the site reasonably, added various activity areas and patterns, and matched them with different colors.

The whole site is brightly colored and full of vitality. It has been more than 4 years since the construction was completed, and the appearance, color and performance of the site are as stable as ever.

ELASTIMAX elastic sports floor is made of specially modified TPE material, which has the characteristics of low emission of harmful substances and low content of heavy metals, creating a safe sports environment for kindergartens. Compared with the traditional floor, ELASTIMAX elastic sports floor has high elasticity, safer and more comfortable.

Kindergarten customers are very satisfied with our products, saying that since the installation of the ELASTIMAX floor, there have been no scratches or falls due to floor problems.

What We Used

For the purpose of this project, we used Elastimax interlocking floor tiles. The white lines on the basketball court are all made of polypropylene PP special high-brightness white ink.

The installation of the TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) tile floor in the indoor basketball court has taken us one step closer to a more sustainable future.
