Guangdong Basketball Association

The basketball court of the Guangdong Basketball Association is located in the office yard of the Guangdong Basketball Association. It is an outdoor basketball court and the first professional-level outdoor sports field in the industry. This venue is also the training ground for the Guangdong 3V3 basketball team. The customer encountered difficulties in building a basketball court.

If a traditional outdoor basketball court is built, the athletes will not receive professional protection, and most of the players who play on this court are professional athletes, so the risk of sports is too high. If a solid wood floor is built, it will be difficult.

It is necessary to build a basketball stadium first, and a professional fresh air system and air conditioner must be added. The cost and venue are not enough. After communicating with the customer and on-site inspection, we finally recommended the professional outdoor model of Macwood sports floor to the customer.

The geographical and climate characteristics of Guangzhou area are rainy, high temperature, high humidity, and termites are seriously infested. The Macwood sports floor system has the characteristics of high and low temperature resistance, waterproof and soaking resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and termite resistance, so it can be used outdoors for a long time.

The Macwood sports floor system has also been certified by the International Basketball Federation FIBA, which is guaranteed in terms of sports performance. The Macwood sports floor system is also very convenient in daily maintenance. After the venue was put into use, it has been recognized by a large number of professional athletes. From the completion of the site in 2019 to the present, it still maintains professional and stable performance.

What We Used

For the purpose of this project, we used Macwood Sports Floor Tiles. The white lines on the basketball court are all made of polypropylene PP special high-brightness white ink.

The installation of the TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) tile floor in the indoor basketball court has taken us one step closer to a more sustainable future.
